Bharath Shetty

Bharath Shetty a Yogacharya with 21 Years of Yoga experience started his first training under the supervision of Yogacharya Kumara in Shantivana Trust, a Yoga & Naturopathy center.

 

To spread the benefits of Yoga to the World he decided to become a Professional Yoga Teacher and in this pursuit he undergone training with Padma Bhushan B.K.S Iyengar, Pune one of the most inspiring and revolutionary Yogacharya of 21st Century, which helped him to gain deep insight into the Iyengar Brand Yoga.

 

Certified by Indian Yoga Institute, Vivekananda Kendra, Bangalore (A - Grade) and International Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Center, Trivendrum (Grade – Excellent) and was awarded with Yoga Siromani and Yogacharya titles on completion of his training. He is the winner of Himalaya Yoga Olympiad (Indian National Yoga Championship) Haridwar in 1998 and in 2001, Bangalore.

 

To begin his teaching career he started his first Yoga Studio 'Creative Yoga Center' at Bangalore in 1998. Later in 2004 relocated to Mysore and re-christened his Yoga School as 'Yoga India' and continued imparting regular Yoga Teachers Training and also renamed it as 'Aananda Yoga India', which is internationally recognized Yoga School by Yoga Alliance USA. There are 400+ successfully trained Yoga Teachers all over the world as the part of Aananda Yoga India Family.

 

He has organized several Workshops in Belgium, Germany, Malaysia, Switzerland, Bangkok, Bangalore, Mumbai and Mysore. He has also organized many workshops in Union Bank of Switzerland, Wipro, Oracle, ANZ Information Technologies, Theorem and regularly holding a group of workshops for the Staff Management and other visitors who come to visit Mysore.

 

On personal front, Bharath born & brought up in Udupi, Karnataka, he was drawn to Yoga after experiencing the alleviation of his sufferings from chronic asthma. He started practicing Yoga and got benefited from good health ever since.

 

He married to Archana Shetty and blessed with two lovely daughters - Aajna Shetty and Abijna Shetty.
