  • From April 2010, all students coming to study at Yoga India enter India on a yoga visa or student visa, as required by Indian law. You may email yogaindia@gmail.com for admission letters from our Institute to include with your visa application form to the Indian Embassy in your country. Upon arrival, students should follow the relevant registration formalities with the Foreigners Registration Office (FRO) in Mysore.

 Bureau of Immigration For more information on visa and registration requirements, please refer to the  Ministry of Home Affairs , India. They have published clear rules and instructions for foreigners coming to India

 

Yoga India moved to a new shala on Thursday, 19th March 2009.  The new shala is now located at 144/E, 7th Main Gokulam 3rd Stage, Mysore.  For those who have been to Yoga India before, the new shala is just next to the old shala,  You will be delighted to know that you will be practising in a more spacious, well-ventilated and energized environment.

UJJAYI BREATHING IN ASANAS

YOGA INDIA added Ujjayi breathing is an option for asana practice. We are using this for all type of Asanas depending on individual conditions. Ujjayi breathing is very helpful to reduce phlegm

" Ujjayi destroys the defects of the nadis dropsy & disorders of dhatu (Humours). This should be performed in all conditions of life even while walking or sitting"

Yoga India is proud to present Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga Training in the First and Second Series. Our methodology is uniquely designed for yoga practitioners who are interested to learn the sequence but lack proper alignment for the practice. The aim of our training is to bring body awareness with proper alignment to ensure a safe and effective practice through learning each asana in detail.

For those in Teacher Training Introduced a Four day Optional Trip to Ananda vana in Kundapur. (Costal Karnataka) where yoga India is Planning To Start its Ashram in few years.

Yoga India has sucessfully Completed 20 Teachers Training since April 2005 and Coming Days we are going to have 5 teachers training Course every year. And a refresher course for teachers
